If one member suffers all suffer together Be in solidarity with those on the margins. Dear God, Help me to remember that those who suffer are not “others”. They are part of me. Their suffering is my suffering. Amen

Stand therefore— Doing nothing is not the Christian response to any human suffering. Dear God, Help me to stand. When I am overwhelmed, strengthen me. Help me not to turn my back and do nothing, but assure me that I can use Your strength. Amen

I hereby command you, be strong and courageous— Not just a friendly suggestion! Dear God, Please help me to be strong and courageous, as well as compassionate and forgiving. Sometimes that’s hard to balance, but I know You have perfect balance. Amen
