Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep If we can share our story with someone who has empathy, shame cannot survive. Dear God, Help me to be that person who gives empathy and understanding. But also help me to learn the balance between caring and fixing. Amen

Romans 12:21

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. — be intolerant of moral laxity, compromise, and cowardice Dear God, Help me not to be apathetic to the evils around me. Beyond that, Lord, don’t let me despair. Keep reminding me that it is possible to overcome evil with good. Amen
